Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I prepare for the Global Skills Conference?

You have a few choices:

  1. Register for a free GSC Preparation Session when you register for the conference.

  2. If you live in Kitchener or Waterloo, check out the Pre-Employment Workshops at the KW Multicultural Centre.

  3. If you live in Guelph, check out the Job Search Workshops at Lutherwood in Guelph.

These free workshops include information on interviews & interview practice, cover letters, targeting resumes, job search strategies, and more. They will help you understand Canadian workplace culture and matching one’s professional qualifications within the Canadian context and will prepare you for the Global Skills Conference.
